What is your commission or revenue share model?
We operate on a fair revenue-sharing model.
As of now, vendors typically receive 75% of the NET sale price, while 25% covers platform, payment processing, and operational costs.
In some cases such as in exclusive partnerships, higher tiers or special agreements may apply.
How do payouts work?
You’ll receive earnings through monthly payouts via PayPal, Wise or bank transfer,
depending on your country and preferences. Payouts and reporting of your earnings are in United States Dollars, but
we support payouts in multiple currencies.
What Steps Are Involved in Becoming a Vendor?
Submit your application using the button on the right.
Once we receive your submission, our team will review your information.
This process may take up to one or two weeks. If we need any additional details, we’ll reach out to you directly.
If your application is approved, you’ll receive login credentials for the Vendor Portal,
where you can set up your account, review and accept our terms, and begin configuring your product.
In the final step, we’ll conduct a round of product testing, which may take up to another week.
If everything checks out, you're ready for launch!
What content is not allowed?
We place great emphasis on product quality and alignment with our market and target audience.
It is essential that your products cater to a broad user base and meet stringent quality requirements that surpass those
of freeware offerings. All products are subject to review to ensure quality and compliance with our standards.
We do not allow:
- Products that violate copyright or intellectual property rights
- Reuploads or monetization of freeware without appropriate rights
- Aircraft Liveries
- Guides, documents, ebooks, tutorials, flight plans, fixes, compatibility addons, workarounds
- Add-Ons for X-Plane, FSX, P3D or other simulators
- Single buildings, stadiums or landmarks
- Content that does include third-party property such as Google Maps data, Google Earth or Bing Maps data, Satellite images or similar
- Content that our market research indicates would not generate sustainable value for you or for us.
Do I need to have a formal business?
No, having a formal business is not required.
Both individual creators and registered companies are welcome to sell on Flightsim.to.
However, depending on your country’s tax laws, you may be responsible for reporting your income or registering as a
business locally. We recommend consulting a tax advisor to ensure compliance with your local regulations.
If you are a citizen of the European Union, you will be required to obtain a valid EU VAT number in order to
sell on Flightsim.to. Selling digital products may involve certain administrative responsibilities,
such as tax registration and compliance.
For this reason, we partner with creators who are committed to handling their passion professionally and sustainably.
Who handles VAT and Payments?
We do. Flightsim.to acts as the Merchant of Record, which means we are responsible for calculating, collecting,
and remitting Value Added Tax on your sales, where applicable.
We take care of the entire payment process. This allows you to focus on creating great content without worrying about
tax compliance in relation to the end customer across different countries.
Can I apply before I have a finished product?
As a general rule, no.
We require a near-complete product to evaluate your application.
At the very least, your product should be in its final stages of development and ready for release within one month.
This helps us ensure quality and readiness before approving new vendors.
